Ngāi Tahu Finance is a relatively small finance company, which is focused on small business funding for Ngāi Tahu Whānui especially where those small businesses will generate sustainable employment opportunities, not only for their Ngai Tahu owners but also for Ngāi Tahu generally.
The prime objective of lending to Ngāi Tahu whānau is to assist their well-being and to improve their ability to compete in the business community rather than enhancing profits for Ngāi Tahu Finance.
